It’s strange-
I was never close to my dad, like EVER.
I visited when I was a kid and all,
but like it wasn’t enough to pick up mannerisms from him.
I decided my first year in college to spend my spring break with him.
After a night of drinking with my old man, we sat down to watch a movie on t.v
I was drowsy- a combination of the liquor and the the late hour.
my dad said something just then, as my eyes were closing,
“haha you do that too.”
“huh?”
“you wiggle your toes as your falling asleep.”
Apparently I am my fathers daughter regardless of the time I’ve spent with him.
this is something I’ve started noticing, as I prefer the couch over my bed, so I can watch movies and fall asleep.
Rock is my preferred music style when driving,
and I like to sleep when my room is cold- Burrowing under my covers as I sleep.
My mom always thought these were odd traits.
But like I said apparently I’m my fathers daughter, and ending up being like him in some way.I get my sense of adventure from him too!
